After a one week hiatus the Beer Frame Bowling is back for
one of the highlights of each season; Halloween night. As a quick reminder each member of your team
(subs included) must come dressed in costume.
Failure to do so will make my job awarding beer tickets a hell of a lot
easier.
Now on with the newsletter….
This may be hard to believe, but we only have 2 weeks left
in the regular season. So, for those
teams in the bottom half of the standings, there are a total of 6 points available
over the next two weeks to improve your position in the standings. Which leads us right into the marquee matchup
for this week; the 1st place Three Hole Enthusiasts vs. the 4th
place Lickety Splits. For the Three
Holes this is familiar territory. For the
Lickety Splits this is totally new.
Having overhauled the roster in the offseason the Splits can take a big
step towards their 1st Championship Match appearance by knocking off
the Three Holes tomorrow night.
Moving way down the standings, we have another Marquee
Matchup. Actually, there is nothing
marquee about 11th place vs. the 12th place. Stop Looking At Our Balls and The Sore Dicks will
be slugging it out to stay away from the cellar. I’ve been told that Luke Hopstad was down at
the soup kitchen offering bums free tickets and bowl of soup to come support
the Dicks. I’ve also heard that nobody
has taken him up on the offer.
